Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas Construction Complete!

The Veterinary Specialty Hospital of the Carolinas is a specialty animal hospital that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They operate as a referral hospital, specializing in advanced dentistry, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, and radiology, during the weekdays, and as an emergency hospital at night and on weekends.

Flythe Construction Company began construction of this new 23,500 square foot facility, located at 6405 Tryon Road in Cary, North Carolina, in the fall of 2002. This all brick, two-story structure was designed around a Star pre-engineered metal building for the main building structure, second floor system and architectural metal roof panels. The facility required the construction of a concrete enclosed room to shield the linear accelerator used for cancer treatments.
